Irish American Hero Award
On Friday May 16th 2025, I had the honor of attending The Irish Echo Award Ceremony where I received the “Irish American Hero Award” which is for ordinary folks, doing extraordinary work without asking for recognition, and are making an impact in the world.

I asked the organizer who nominated me and they explained there was more than one; and they were all first responders. I truly have no words to describe how that makes me feel…

The last 13 years I have focused my life on how to change the world one person at a time and I couldn’t have done it without all of you. The last 10 years I have made a focus to help non profits here in the WNY area which has led me to joining the most incredible organization; The FAM Foundation. Together we are changing the lives of first responders and their families, and for that — I am truly grateful.

Being a light in this dark world is not easy, but knowing I’m helping each of you.. brings me joy.

Thank you to those that nominated me — You have no idea how much it means to me. Thank you to my family for always being my biggest cheerleader and sticking beside me through life’s journeys. I love you very much.

Operation: Buffalo's Bravest
Chelsea is Board of Directors for The Firefighter Arno Memorial Foundation and she partnered with Cigar-Vets and CFS Bakeshop to deliver cigars and desserts to Buffalo’s Bravest!
As we head into the holiday season we want our first responders to know they’re supported and loved. Chelsea’s brother in law, a Navy Veteran also took part in giving back! We are thankful for John and Adam’s service!

Operation Brotherhood: Arno's Watch
March 1st 2023, Chelsea was in South Buffalo with Buffalo Fire when the radio was reporting one of their own was missing and later passed away in the line of duty. This is the third loss Chelsea has experience with LODD and vowed to do something about it. Chelsea gathered friends and family March 1st when Jason Arno passed away to deliver pizza to firehouses in the city of Buffalo to remind them they have support form the community and are thought of. She now spear heads the giveback every March 1st to make sure every firefighter in the city of Buffalo gets fed and has support.
